Launch of the Cyber Training Arena

On November 12, Adili Group celebrated a groundbreaking milestone for digital resilience with the launch of the Adili Cyber Training Arena – an advanced, immersive space dedicated to fortifying Africa’s digital frontier. More than just a training centre, this arena brings together Africa’s brightest minds and the latest technology to tackle the continent’s most pressing cybersecurity challenges.

The event featured powerful keynote addresses from Emmanuel Kimeu, Secretary of ICT, Security and Audit Control at the Ministry of ICT Kenya & Digital Economy, and Dr David Njoga, PhD, Head of Cybersecurity Policy, Strategy, and Standards at National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee (NC4), both emphasizing the urgent need for a strong cybersecurity framework across Africa.

In a dynamic panel session moderated by Moses Kemibaro, thought leaders from various sectors shared invaluable insights. Panellists included Rosa Nduati-Mutero (Managing Partner, ALN Kenya), Ofir Hason (CEO, CybergymIEC), Esther Masese Waititu (Chief Financial Services Officer, Safaricom PLC), Njeri Jomo (CEO & Principal Officer, Jubilee Health Insurance), and Joylynn Kirui (Senior Cloud Security Advocate, Microsoft), who collectively explored the challenges, innovations, and strategic advancements necessary for cybersecurity in Africa.

The highlight of the day was the official launch of the Cyber Arena, led by Willie Oelofse (Head of Risk Advisory Services, Adili Group), Mbabu Muturi (Head of Cyber Services, Adili Group), and Ofir Hason, unveiling a world-class facility designed to deliver immersive, hands-on cybersecurity training uniquely tailored to your needs.
