An international consultancy firm sought payroll services for both non-recurrent and recurring services. The non-recurrent services provided included registering the employer with various statutory authorities among them the National Social Security Fund, National Hospital Insurance Fund, and the National Industrial Training Authority. Our team also registered the company’s employees with various statutory authorities and set up their details onto the payroll system. The recurrent services include: preparing the monthly payroll and providing the relevant reports; remitting employees’ salaries via electronic fund transfers; preparing and distributing pay slips, preparation and submission of monthly Pay As You Earn (PAYE) returns, and remitting retirement benefit contributions, health insurance premiums, and industrial training deductions to the relevant entities. This is in addition to ensuring compliance with the local statutory and tax requirements, salary maintenance and related control accounts, and preparing and submitting all payroll-related returns to the relevant authorities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
