Our CSR Initiatives

At Adili Group, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are a testament to our belief in operating responsibly and enhancing the lives of those around us. We strive to create a lasting positive impact through our continuous efforts and collaborations.

We are dedicated to creating a positive impact on society and CSR initiatives are intended to improve economic, social, and environmental well-being of our community. Our efforts are focused around five key pillars: Children, Education, Health, Environment, and the Elderly, and are guided by a CSR Committee.

Children

One of our cornerstone initiatives is supporting the Destiny Shapers School in Korogocho, Nairobi. Established in 2014, this community-based organization provides education and support to vulnerable and orphaned children. We consistently contribute to their feeding program, donate food quarterly, and have funded land purchases to expand their facilities. Additionally, we offer financial assistance to help more students enrol.

We are proud to support St. Paul’s Children’s Care Centre, an orphanage in Embulbul, Ngong. The centre provides care, shelter, education, and support to orphans and vulnerable children. We coordinate and plan their annual Christmas party, creating a joyous and memorable event for the children.

Education

Our dedication to education is exemplified by our support for the Deep Sea Community Resource Centre, reconstructed by Fursa Trust after a devastating fire. This centre provides after-school and vocationeducational programs, mentorship, and enriching trips for primary and secondary students. We have donated schoolbooks and educational games to restock the centre, enhancing the learning experiences of the children.

Health

We are proud supporters of the Faraja Cancer Support Trust, an organization that provides complementary therapies, counselling, support groups, and financial aid for cancer patients. We have raised funds through events like the Faraja White-Water Rafting Challenge and the Be Bold and Go Gold Charity Run/Walk, raising awareness and support for childhood cancer.

Our commitment to health extends to the Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya (CPSK), where we have participated in their annual walk/run. This event supports children with cerebral palsy from low-income households in Nairobi, providing essential resources and care.

CSR activities at Adili

Environment

In response to natural disasters, we have actively participated in the Flood Relief Initiative. Together with our affiliate ALN Kenya, we supported families affected by floods in Marigat, Baringo County. Our contributions included constructing basic infrastructure such as latrines and providing essential food supplies.

We are proud to have sponsored Car 21 during the Rhino Charge, an off-road competition that not only tests endurance and skill but also champions environmental sustainability. The event plays a crucial role in conserving Kenya’s vital mountain ecosystems. At Adili Group, our commitment to sustainability is integral to our mission of fostering responsible business practices across Africa.

Internal Initiatives: Supporting Our People

We believe our people are our greatest asset. To support their well-being, we have launched internal initiatives such as ‘She-Matters’ and ‘He-Matters’. These programs offer a series of talks addressing personal issues that staff may encounter, fostering a supportive and understanding workplace environment.

Long-Term Sponsorship

We are also committed to long-term educational sponsorships. Adili has been sponsoring a young girl’s education from primary school through secondary school, demonstrating our commitment to individual growth and development. The young girl is a daughter to an Adili team member who unfortunately passed on and the firm committed to sponsoring her education.
