Join our team: Trainee – Corporate Secretarial Services (COSEC)

What you will do

As a trainee, you will support the Adili COSEC team in a variety of company secretarial and administrative functions, including:

  • Assisting with annual compliance requirements and periodic corporate changes (e.g., director/shareholder changes, share issues or transfers, capital increases, charge creation/modification/satisfaction).
  • Supporting the incorporation and administration of Kenyan companies and foreign entities.
  • Assisting with meeting support, including convening and attending board, board committee, and general meetings, drafting notices, minutes, resolutions, and other secretarial documents.
  • Preparing and submitting statutory returns and notifications to the Registrar of Companies and monitoring their progress.
  • Supporting business licensing and registrations across sectors.
  • Assisting in applications for work and residence permits, as well as duty remission facilities for expatriate staff.

What we are looking for

This role will require a person with high levels of ambition and commitment.

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a strong interest in Corporate Secretarial work.
  • Completion of the foundation level of the Certified Public Secretaries (CPS) Course is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of private and public limited companies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across different stakeholders.

The role will be based Kenya, with potential travel within East Africa.
