Retail has long been the backbone of the global consumer economy, and in 2024, the industry hit new highs.
Global retail sales reached approximately 31.1 trillion dollars, marking a 4.9 per cent increase from the previous year. The market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 5.8 per cent, reaching around 40.42 trillion dollars by 2034.
